There's a full manual to look at on the support page. I love Juice aka iPodder, until Apple demanded a name change! Easy to use, low maintenance. I really don't use it for podcast directories, etc. This is easy to fix--instructions can be found on the web. See, e.

Tip of the Day. Leanne Hays. After all, some of the best hacks are borne from the most annoying problems. As a user of both Android and iOS, is there a way to have my podcast feed synced between both iOS and Android and be able to just start listening where I left off on either device?
I think Stitcher might be the only option for this, but having Amazon Echo as well, it would be nice to ask my Echo to play where I left off as well. Hi, Darrell!
As an avid podcast listener and owner of both iOS and Android devices, I feel your pain. Some podcast apps allow you to listen on either iOS or Android, as well as the web. Luckily, you can easily sync your podcasts between the two mobile operating systems if you use the right app. Stitcher is indeed useful for multi-platform listening, and syncs your podcasts and listening position across devices.
That being said, I find podcast app Pocket Casts more user-friendly and reliable than Stitcher. Now, about your listening to podcasts through your Amazon Echo. Echo gets its podcast list from TuneIn, which features over 5 million podcasts in its repertoire. You can use the Alexa app to control TuneIn podcasts on your phone, but the interface is terribly organized and features obscure categories mixed in with more traditional podcast genres.
Want to listen to your favorite fictional community radio podcast? If you need to go back you can ask it to play the previous episode, but you can only advance or rewind one episode at a time. Of course, you might want to listen to an episode released a few weeks back. If you want more control you can use your own podcast app, in this case Stitcher or Pocket Casts.
How do you get it to play on your Echo? Simple: pair your phone and Echo via Bluetooth. From there you can treat your Echo like a normal speaker. You can also play podcasts using supported podcast apps like Pocket Casts. Want to ask Lifehacker a question? Email patrick.

Great news, if you live in the US, at least; both Apple Music and Spotify have belatedly arrived on the scene when it comes to playing podcasts with Alexa.
Search for the Apple Podcasts skills and tap Enable to Use. Link your Apple ID. You're now all set. However, by default, TuneIn is the main man when it comes to playing podcasts on Alexa.
So, in order to stop adding each podcast request with "on Apple Podcasts" to the end, simply change the default podcast player to be Apple's. At the bottom, under Account Setting s, tap the Default Service s section.
You'll now find you're able to choose a default podcast player from whatever streaming services you have linked. Choose Apple Podcasts.
You can also choose to set Apple Podcasts as the default player when you first link your account. It's even easier with Spotify, because there's no separate skill; you just use your regular Spotify account. If you've already got your Spotify profile linked, then simply request podcasts as you would a song, playlist or album.
However, minor caveat: just because you have Spotify selected as your default music streaming platform, that does not mean you'll automatically have it set as the default podcast app. So you'll have to add "on Spofity" to the end of your podcast requests.
Unless, of course, you follow those same steps we listed above for Apple Music to make Spotify the default player.
